A facility built around the garment, not the machine.

Our floor is laid out as a continuous production loop: overhead conveyors move work-in-progress between cutting, sewing, filling, finishing and packing without ever touching the ground.

A unit production system carries garments through every station on a programmed route. Operators never lift, fold or stack work-in-progress — bottlenecks surface in real time on the line monitor.

High-density sewing floor

380 industrial machines across 4 lines: lockstitch, overlock, flatlock, double-needle, bartack, bonding and ultrasonic welding. Brother, Juki and JATI heads under preventive maintenance.

Tensile, tear, seam slippage, waterproof column, air permeability and colour fastness tested in-house. Every shipment ships with a lab report against your spec.

Shell, lining, insulation and trims sourced from audited mills with full traceability documentation.

Pattern & fit sample

Digital pattern engineering, grading and a first fit sample shipped for review.

PP sample & approval

Pre-production sample in bulk fabric, signed off against your spec before line release.

Bulk production

In-line and end-line QA at AQL 2.5. Daily WIP reporting on your shared dashboard.

Final QC & shipment

Final random inspection, lab report, packing list and FOB/FCA/DDP shipment from Tianjin or Shanghai.

06 Our story

Three generations on the same factory floor.

Dazhong was founded by a group of tailors at the very start of China’s opening-up era. Four decades on, the discipline that made the first jacket still shapes how we run every order today.

Three generations,
one workshop.
  1. 1978

    Founded

    A workshop of seven tailors in northern China takes its first export order: padded jackets shipped to Eastern Europe by rail.

  2. 1995

    Industrialised

    First fully-industrial sewing floor, dedicated cutting room and a 50-person QA team. The factory begins working directly with European buyers.

  3. 2010

    Modernised

    Overhead conveyor production system installed. In-house QA laboratory commissioned. ISO 9001 and BSCI audits passed first time.

  4. Today

    Vertically integrated

    Four product lines, an on-site sample studio and a sourcing team that audits every mill we buy from. Run by the founders’ children.
